NE Florida has excellent habitats to find these beautiful Redfish. During lower tides we see these fish crushing bait and cruising around oyster bars and other significant structural points. But what happens when that water starts to come up? I know individuals who struggle finding these fish during higher water periods. Tip of the day: scouting! Remember where these points of interest are located, whether it be oyster bars or rock points, these fish orient themselves in these areas. Pound those areas with paddle tails, jerk baits, and suspending plugs and I’m willing to bet you’ll find a few.
